If heaven has a set of compass co-ordinates they surely cross on the palm-lined sands of Long Beach in Phú Quốc, the largest Vietnamese island, in the Gulf of Thailand, where the IHG group has launched a new Regent resort that plays to both meaningful regionalism and the modern traveller’s hyper-nuanced needs.
